    ¡Caza en Luisiana! En Hunt Showdown, juegas como un cazarrecompensas con la misión de limpiar el pantano. De hecho, Luisiana está invadida por criaturas de pesadilla y tú debes deshacerte de ellas. Triunfa y serás generosamente recompensado, pero si fallas, lo perderás casi todo. En cuanto a lo que al juego se refiere, Hunt Showdown es similar a un battle royale, mezclando JcJ y JcE. El principio es simple: en un mapa, cinco equipos de dos cazadores luchan por su supervivencia y algo más. Al comienzo del juego, cada dúo debe rastrear y matar una de las criaturas monstruosas que están al acecho en el pantano, y si lo hace, se les asigna una prima y se convierten en un objetivo que disparar para otros cazadores. Tendrán que vigilar su espalda si no quieren terminar en sus manos, permitiéndoles así embolsarse su prima. Los cazadores también tienen una capacidad de visión nocturna llamada Visión Oscura, la cual les permite seguir a tu objetivo guiados por un resplandor. Pero ten cuidado, porque la Visión Oscura también revela a los jugadores con una prima a su nombre. Si este es tu caso, deberás tener mucho cuidado para evitar a otros cazadores. En Hunt Showdown, obtener experiencia es crucial para mejorar a tu personaje. Esto se lleva a cabo a través de tu línea de sangre, en otras palabras, tu linaje, el cual es común a todos tus personajes. Si logras sobrevivir, mantendrás el dinero que ganaste para mejorar tu linaje y equipar a nuevos cazadores. Si mueres, lo perderás todo excepto tu experiencia, que se mantendrá para mejorar a otros cazadores de tu línea de sangre.
