    Star Renegades es un juego de rol táctico con gráficos en estilo pixel-art y elementos generados por procedimientos. Con la ayuda del robot de servicio J5T-1N, liderarás un equipo rebelde contra las fuerzas del Imperio. Los oponentes evolucionan de batalla en batalla, haciendo que cada combate sea único y a menudo desafiante, lo que a veces conduce a la muerte de los miembros de tu equipo. Cada muerte de un compañero es una gran pérdida. Forman vínculos entre sí e incluso pueden desbloquear a su progenie para unirse a las filas del equipo en sus futuras partidas. Durante el combate estratégico por turnos, te enfrentarás a una variedad de oponentes y jefes. Tendrás que adaptar tus tácticas a las situaciones cambiantes del campo de batalla, utilizando contraataques y combos, o interrumpiendo los movimientos del enemigo. Sin embargo, si el oponente resulta ser demasiado fuerte y derrota a todo el equipo, J5T-1N se trasladará a una nueva dimensión para asumir el desafío una vez más con un nuevo equipo, pero con todos los conocimientos que has adquirido en las dimensiones anteriores a tu disposición.
