A (free) Steam account and the Steam application installation are mandatory to activate and play your game.

How to activate a CD key on Steam?

1. Launch the Steam application: Open the Steam client on your computer. If you do not have an account yet, you must create one for free on the official Steam website, then download and install the app. Log into your profile.

2. Open the activation menu: In the top menu of the application, click on the "Games" tab, then select "Activate a Product on Steam…".

3. Enter your CD key: Follow the on-screen instructions, then copy and paste your unique code into the "Product Code" field. Click "Next" to confirm.

4. Install your game: Once the key is validated, the game is permanently linked to your account. A window will appear, allowing you to immediately start the download and installation from your library.

How to activate a CD key or code on Xbox Series X | S?

• Option A: Directly on your Xbox Series X | S console (Recommended method)

  1. Turn on your console, log into your profile, and open the Microsoft Store application from the Home dashboard or the Guide.

  2. Open the left sidebar menu (or press the "View" button on your controller) and select the "Redeem" option.

  3. Enter your 25-character CD key (hyphens will be formatted automatically), then select "Next".

  4. Confirm the activation. The title will immediately appear in your library, ready to download under "My games & apps" > "Full library" > "Owned games".

• Option B: Via a web browser (Alternative method)

  1. Go to the official Microsoft redemption website (redeem.microsoft.com) using your computer or smartphone.

  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account you use on your console. 

  3. Enter or paste your unique 25-character code and confirm. The game is instantly added to your account, and background download will automatically trigger on your Xbox Series X | S if "Sleep" power mode is enabled.
